Membership at Kingsfield is more than a tee time. There's a full calendar of competitions, a Winter Championship to keep you playing through the colder months, and two friendly societies to join.

Club competitions

Our competitions run throughout the season and are open to all members with a handicap. They're a great way to track your progress, meet other members and play under a bit of friendly pressure.

The Winter Championship

Golf doesn't stop when the clocks go back. Our greens stay in full play through winter, and the Winter Championship keeps the competition going until spring.

It's a relaxed way to stay sharp, keep your handicap active and see familiar faces through the quieter months. Winter rules apply, including mats off fairways and tees, and play waits for any white frost to lift.

Ladies' and gents' societies

Our societies are the easiest way to find regular playing partners. Both welcome golfers of every standard, and new members are always encouraged to come along.

Katie's Cup

Our annual charity golf day brings together members, families, friends and local businesses for a day of golf and fundraising. Katie's Cup 2026 raised £47,500 for six charities, taking the event's total to almost £400,000.
